Presenting the Class of 2017

We want to give a heartfelt congrats to our senior class. We have learned so much from you all over these past four years, and enjoyed your friendship, your humor, your energy and your positivity. Each member of this class has a very unique and wonderful presence in the Evans Scholarship House, and we will miss them dearly.

We wanted to share a bit about our seniors and congratulate them on their post-grad plans.

Luis Anzures majored in biology and minored in environmental policy. He has held internships at the Chicago Botanic Garden, and has had great success on his academic research on plant genetics.

Michael Crawford majored in economics and minored in business institutions. He will be working for ZS Associates in Princeton, New Jersey, in sales and marketing consulting. He is also an avid music lover.

Benjamin Klein majored in mechanical engineering. During his time at NU, he worked on many design projects and studied alternative energy in China, and he plans to pursue mechanical design.

Rose McBride majored in journalism and psychology. She is pursuing a career in broadcast journalism, and she will be working at WJFW-TV in Rhinelander, Wisconsin as a 10 p.m. anchor and producer.

John Nogafka majored in cultural anthropology and international studies. He plans to teach English abroad in a Spanish-speaking country and is currently working for The Chicago Humanities Festival.

Frank Obi majored in biomedical engineering. He will be pursuing his master's in biomedical engineering at Northwestern next fall, as well as continuing his jazz musicianship.

Bridgett Riverol majored in communication sciences and disorders at Northwestern. She will be pursuing her master's in bilingual speech therapy at Marquette next fall.

Charlie Wallace majored in economics and minored in business institutions. He will be working as a paralegal at Davidson & Seseri LLC and preparing to go to law school in the future.
